I'm a Danish SV-Rider and isn't that good in Deutch. Thats why I write in English. I hope somebody can help me anyway.

I nedd the metal-lock mounted to the passenger-seat on a SV650S from year 2000. I can't find here in Denmark, is there anybody in the great Deutland, who knows where to buy it ???

The dealers here in denmark tells me that it isn't possible to buy it as a replacement part, and I need to buy a complete passengerseat.

But can that be true ???

i would suggest to look after the lock at the ebay homepage, they sell everything, or at this forum at "marktplatz...verkaufe"!!

I don´t know of any source for this part, except in a package with a seat or an aftermarket seat cowl (some of these cowls even require this part to be taken from the original seat - kind of defeats the advantage of quick interchange).
Maybe you can get one manufactured by a local shop if you provide a sample? One member of this forum long ago began to model a seat cowl of his own and said it wouldn´t be a big problem to build this very part due to his access to the milling shop of his university. He never came around to finish the cowl, though, and therefore also didn´t manufacture such locks.

Otherwise you probably can only check the "usual places" for a (possibly trashed) rear seat, as suggested.

What exactly do you look for ? Is it only the metal part of the seat cowl which fits in the lock ? Maybe you can make a new one on your own like I did it for my seat cover.
