Watchya guv!
At long last I'm not the only English / American speaking native anymore!
Glad to welcome you aboard! I'm sure u'll hav a great time with these guys.

I'll have to read through the whole thread 2morow or so....just 2 knackered to do so now, just got back from my girlfriend.

CYA around!

By the way....if it ain't too personal, just being inquisitive, how did you and ur wife meet up? I mean USA and Germany are quite a long way apart. And what line of job are you in?
I for myself am between "jobs" now. I finished school (equivilant 2 A-Levels) and am most probably goin 2 study something in the line of chemistry.

Dear Onrangetrack
Great welcome to svrider.de. I have been 6 months in your country travelling. In Santa Barbara I told an American where to go for a motorbike ride in the blackforrest. He explained me all the hidden details in Easy Rider.
If you visit the black forrest you should think about visiting Switzerland as well. But be aware the ride shouldn't be at the same speed than in Germany. The probability to get a fine is very high and the fine can be easyly hard to pay.
I have to admit that I have liked the Highway 1, but I had no motorbike at that time.
Regards
Klaus-Dieter

 In fact, I usually don't the speak the bavarian dialect . But I could do if I want to!
And my english pronouciation seems to be good enough for examiners from Cambridge, so that I achieved grade A in the "Cambridge First certificate in English" a year ago. :P

u´ll don´t  you won't

Cambrigde Certificate seems to be very important in Germoney.
I had the chance to learn for this during apprenticeship, but I´m a lazy bastard and so I didn´t :)

But another question:
Did anyone understand what Rooney said in his interviews he gave on the Euro2004?

MFG Michael

Nice Video, nice street, i wish I would have something simular like that. How works your police with this style of driving, are they not so hard like at cars?!

...I still have yet to learn German....

Someone asked how I met my wife. She lived in Germany until the age of 14 then moved over here with her parents. She speaks fluent english and german. I met her at work here in Los Angeles; best decision in my life was to ask her to marry me.

My new flyscreen....( Suzuki factory )

Really takes the wind off of the chest. Good quality, too.

Howdy Orangetrak
have not been to this forum for a while - my CRF took over, the SV decayed to a mere means of transportation
nice to see some non native here
wellcome!
guess you have some nice twisties in the coastal mountains, but I really envy you for all the offroad riding you can do in the desert and the mountains - I hate to scrub red clay off my bike
